Experience difficulties updating from svn

Dec 24, 2009 at 8:42 AM

I'm getting the following response when trying to update the entire svn tree:

Error: REPORT of '/svn/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read status line: Secure
Error: connection truncated (https://mvcturbine.svn.codeplex.com)

I don't know what the message means exactly.
When I update subfolders of the tree lower then the /trunk/src folder it works, so I can update the folders one by one.

I was wondering if anybody else experienced this problem because it could very well be our crappy corporate network that's doing some funky stuff here.

Yes, I have the same issue. The project got relocated from:

if you are using TortoiseSVN, you can take TRY to advantage of the "relocated" function from the context menu. I couldn't get it to work tho. I would just redownload everything from the scratch.

From what I can tell both https://turbine.svn.codeplex.com/svn/trunk/ and https://mvcturbine.svn.codeplex.com/svn/trunk/ work fine. I haven't done anything to the SVN repo since the project first started back in September.  Having said that, I'm in the process of moving the src from codeplex to github - http://github.com/lozanotek/mvcturbine  -- right now it's not live yet since I'm still moving all the different pieces.

Yes jglozano, this is true. In TortoiseSVN I can explore and checkout from both https://mvcturbine.svn.codeplex.com/svn/trunk/ and https://turbine.svn.codeplex.com/svn/trunk/.

I can't however, do an update on https://mvcturbine.svn.codeplex.com/svn/trunk/. I don't know what the problem is, but I can perform updates on other projects in Codeplex. But as long as I can get the source it doesn't really bothers me.

It would be great to see mvc turbine on GitHub, and thank you for spending time on such great project :)
